Technical Project Manager

Remote, Part-time

As our organisation grew over the past years, the importance of the IT department grew with it.
You will be able to work on the development of new innovative projects that promise to have a big impact on our Network.

Your role in this project

1. PDevelopment of a Network Platform base, which uses a Federal Login and connects the first Confederations as users.

 

2. Ideate on and develop new features for the platform and implement them based on gathered data from the Network.

3.
Testing methods and gathering and implementing feedback from users into new or improved features.

4. Deploy the application and assist in the onboarding of users.

What you will learn or improve

Web development. Writing well designed, testable, efficient code
by using best software development practices.

 

Agile Methodology. It advocates adaptive planning, evolutionary
development, early delivery, and continual improvement, and it
encourages flexible responses to change.

 

Results Orientation. Learn how to work towards a predefined goal in a clearly structured manner.

Requirements

Web development. Knowledge in frontend and backend software development.

 

UX/UI Design.

 

Programming Languages. Use your prefered programming language in accordance with the team.

 

Other tools. Use It is of additional value if you already have some experience with GitHub, CI/CD, Azure and Figma.

 

Optional. DevOps and Agile Methodology.

1 year term as a Remote Manager

Officially our terms start in September and January each year with our Managers Bootcamp, at which everyone gets to know each other and the work at JEE. From there on the new Managers then work together with us in their departments for one year.

On average, Remote Managers work 5–10 hours per week.

Yes you can. If you are not too busy in your Executive Board and you would like to work with us, we’re more than happy to welcome you in our team.

You don’t need to come to Brussels for a remote position. However we may invite you to come to the JEE HQ for training or other activities.

All members of our team are working voluntarily. Thus, we expect you to apply because you aim to grow with this experience and not for a monetary compensation.
